Today, the 169 kilometer long fourth stage of Eneco Tour was executed between Essen and Vlijmen and as the previous stages, the stage was concluded with a hectic bunch sprint. Beforehand, Saxo-Tinkoff’s Matti Breschel launched a fierce attack with 7 kilometers to go as the peloton entered a cobblestone section.
However, Team Belkin made sure the peloton remained complete and on the finish line in raging pace, German André Greipel (Lotto-Belisol) was the fastest of all and took the stage.
Lars Boom (Belkin) leads overall.
