Reynolds Cycling, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of high performance bicycle wheels, will finish an eventful 2013 show circuit at Interbike, September 18 – 20, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, the company exhibited at several key industry events, including Sea Otter, PressCamp, DealerCamp and Eurobike.
Reynolds launched numerous additions and improvements to both its road and mountain wheel collections, including the release of the innovative 46 AERO wheel, a revamped, modern Performance line, and eight new mountain bike wheelset options.
During Interbike, the wheelmaker is offering a free set of custom 2013 ASSAULT Shimano clinchers to each dealer who signs a qualifying pre-season order. The MSRP $1,875 ASSAULTS have limited edition black-on-black ink jet decals and are only available while supplies last. They will ship after the show, with the dealer’s 2014 pre-season shipment.
“Our 2014 product is definitely turning some heads, and we hope this promotion will as well.” said Rob Aguero, Reynolds’ Director of Sales and Marketing. “The revamping of our line has been a long time coming and we’ve put in a lot of hours to get it here. Feature -packed wheels like the disc specific ASSAULT SLG are exactly what our customers have been looking for.”
The ASSAULT SLG Disc Brake is one of four offerings in Reynolds’ popular Performance collection. Its siblings include the ATTACK, ASSAULT SLG and STRIKE SLG. For 2014, each of the wheels has been re-engineered with 25 mm-wide rim channels for enhanced road control. Additionally, the ASSAULT SLG and STRIKE SLG have been upgraded with enhanced SLG aerodynamic technology.
“Requests for a mid-depth in our revolutionary DETTM profile have been addressed with the innovative 46 AERO,” added Aguero. “We launched the AERO line last year, and the reviews from the media and the riders have been amazing. To say the 46 AERO has been ‘anticipated’, is an understatement.”
Reynolds’ mountain bike lineup also includes new product offerings for 2014. The carbon collection has four purpose-built options for XC, Traill, and All-Mountain and there are similarly four revamped alloy wheels. The available diameters for all MTN wheels are 27.5 and 29.
Summarized Aguero: “We truly have something tailored for everyone, in terms of price point, functionality and riding style. We’re looking forward to a fantastic Interbike and excited to show dealers the results of all our hard work. Our wheels, combined with the amazing preseason and demo programs developed by our Sales Manager, Travis Erwin, will really help IBDs succeed with Reynolds Cycling in 2014.”
