Team TIBCO continued to deliver results abroad as they wrapped up the Holland Ladies Tour on Sunday with a 5th and 6th place finish by Claudia Haeusler and Chantal Blaak respectively. Team TIBCO’s Shelley Olds stood on the podium twice, including a 2nd-place finish in Stage 3 and a 3rd place in Stage 5.
“I am very happy with the performance of our riders,” said Team TIBCO directeur sportif Manel Lacambra. “They continue to show excellent teamwork and strength in the European peloton.”
The Team heads to Italy for the Giro Toscana Sept. 11 – 15 as final preparation for the World Championships in Italy later this month. So far, Team TIBCO has had three of its riders invited to compete in the World Championships, including Jo Kiesanowski (NZL), Shelley Olds (USA) and Melanie Spath (IRL). The Giro Toscana squad includes Amanda Miller, Lauren Stephens, Blaak, Haeusler and Olds.
