Endura, the UK based technical cycle clothing brand, will be Movistar Team’s clothing partner from 2014.
Endura will provide all Movistar Team’s performance clothing and be the official supplier of Movistar Team clothing to retailers globally in a planned three-year deal with anticipated cooperation beyond then.
In the new partnership, Endura will work with Movistar Team in developing the performance apparel used by its riders with almost all of the clothing provided to the Team being produced in Endura’s own production facility in Livingston, Scotland.
Eusebio Unzue, general manager of Movistar Team, stated that “this partnership is an important step forward for Movistar Team. By partnering with a fast growing company such as Endura, globally focused, and well-known for their quality, design and distribution network, we looked for a global partner to help us to spread our brand all over the world”. “Today is an important day for the future of Movistar Team” concluded Unzué.
Jim McFarlane, Director of Endura Ltd commented “Movistar [Team] are at the top of their game and we have an excellent relationship with them. Right from the start of our discussions it was clear that we shared a common vision of how to work together and of the goals that we should set ourselves in this project. Everyone at Endura is excited to be working with such a professional and talented team of people and for our part we are extremely optimistic of what we can achieve for the Team in improving performances through technical development in the Team’s clothing.”
The new 2014 Movistar Team clothing is scheduled to be shown for the first time before Christmas time.
