Multiple new technologies have been included in the design of Proflow™, including the unique and patented Suspended-Hinge Geometry™: a ‘flying’ temple design which allows the finest adjustment for maximum comfort and works together with the all new Dorsal Stabilizers™, a system which ensures perfect alignment and directional stability for most head shapes, thus preventing the glasses from pitching down and placing excess pressure on the nose and ears.
One of the most innovative features in the Proflow™ is the new Integrated Air Conditioning™ system which makes novel use of the Venturi effect; a principle of fluid dynamics discovered by the Italian physicist Giovannia Venturi in 1797. This property increases air velocity along specially crafted channels of the temples and reduces thermal shock to prevent fogging.
In addition to the new features of the Proflow™, all of Rudy Project’s classic, award-winning features have been integrated in its design, including the Total Comfort System™ which offers easy ergonomic adjustment via flexible temple tips and the ErgoIV™ nosepiece, ensuring a custom and precise fit for every face.
