The UCI Continental cycling squad, which began as Time Pro Cycling in 2006, has accomplished many cycling feats since the riders started toting Polar BottleĀ® brand insulated water bottles in their bike cages in 2012. In September last year, for example, the team earned a bid to the inauguralTour of AlbertaĀ and walked away from the race with two top 10ā€™s finishes.

ā€œIt has been great working with these riders,ā€ said Polar BottleĀ® sales manager Phil Bash. ā€œWe have a lot of cycling fans at the office who follow races pretty closely and it was so cool to see our bottles represented at some of the bigger events the team has participated in.ā€

Polar BottleĀ® is thrilled to sign on as a sponsor again this year through product donation of the companyā€™s Made in America, BPA-free, insulated sport water bottles to keep the 15-person team hydrated during the 2014 season.

ā€œThese are the best bottles out there and the support from Polar BottleĀ® has been amazing,ā€ said Joe Carpisassi, Team SmartStop Pro Cycling Equipment Manager. ā€œBecause of the companyā€™s support we always know we have an ice cold refreshing drink waiting for us in our bottles, in our gym bags,Ā with us in the car travelling to races, or wherever we go.ā€

To celebrate their mutual sponsorship of the cycling team, Polar BottleĀ® and Jackson, Wyoming-based outdoor apparel companyĀ Mountain Khakisrecently partnered for a week-longĀ Facebook contest. The promotion, which ends Friday, rewards four lucky followers with a three-pack of the same 20oz water bottles used by the team and a $30 Mountain Khakis gift card. Check theĀ Polar BottleĀ®Ā andĀ Mountain KhakisĀ Facebook pages for details on the contest.
