Moxie Cycling, riding apparel made by and for women, announces the launch of its all-new, expanded line of women’s-specific cycling apparel for 2014. With a female cyclist’s needs at the forefront of the apparel design, the Moxie Cycling collection of tanks, tees, jackets, and skirts is stand-alone in comfort, performance, and style for women. The new line debuts at www.moxiecycling.com.
“Moxie Cycling was founded three years ago due to a gap co-founder Deb Amorde and I saw in the market for stylish performance cycling apparel designed specifically and uniquely for women,” said Brooke Freiborg, co-founder of Moxie Cycling. “We’re so excited to launch the 2014 line with a greater variety of gear. Our mission is to ensure that women have riding apparel options that fit well and are comfortable, and that come in styles that express the individual personality of the cyclist.”
Moxie, Freiborg says, is a daring embodiment of sass and perseverance. Bold and on-trend, the collection comprises both print and solid options for cyclists in unique styles. The apparel is stylish enough to wear off the bike, but is exceptionally technical and functional while riding.
The new 2014 collection consists of 38 more SKUs than last year, including tanks in the original Moxie Cycling t-back design, plus new sweetheart and layered styles. Also new for 2014 is a line of color-block tees, along with a Merino wool collection of tops and cropped jackets. An epaulette skirt, designed to layer with the rider’s favorite bike shorts, is also debuting for spring.
While never compromising on style, the exceptional performance benefits of Moxie Cycling apparel set the gear apart. Highlights include:
- Moisture transport fabric that wicks away hard-earned sweat, keeping the rider dry and fresh, with design-specific ventilation points that release heat for proper temperature management.
- Patent Pending Backpax™ pocketing design, featuring three roomy pockets and zippered large pouch secure enough for credit cards or big enough for a jacket.
- A built-in support bra in tank styles with contoured shaping and plush elastic, so no additional support is needed.
- The Merino wool line offers ultra-soft, breathable comfort. Merino wool regulates body temperature, naturally controls odor, and stretches as the rider moves.
