Cannondale Factory’s bikers keep on dominating at Internazionali d’Italia MTB, as Manuel Fumic led a strong 1-2 finish in Nalles ahead of Marco Aurelio Fontana. The two riders, both equipped with Northwave Extreme Tech MTB shoes, dominated the race from the early going, with the Italian holding the lead until a puncture forced him to give way to the German teammate.
More riders sponsored by the Italian brand entered the top-10: Andrea Tiberi (FRM Factory) finished 5th whileAnton Cooper (Cannondale Factory) placed 10th.
The Northwave domination continued in the Women’s race, as Extreme Tech MTB Plus stepped on all the three podium spots: Swiss Kathrin Leumann (Ghost Factory) preceded teammate Alexander Engen and Multivan Merida’s Gunn-Rita Dahle, while youngster Greta Weithaler (Ghost Factory) raised arms in the women junior race, showing an excellent athletic condition.
Still in Italy, Silmax’s Samuele Porro with Extreme Tech MTB Plus won the Granfondo delle Terme inPistoia by beating Colombian Leonardo Paez in a two man-sprint.
