Sep Vanmarcke will ride his innovative Infinito CV to storm Paris-Roubaix, 257 km race from Paris to Roubaix (France) also known as the Hell of North, on Sunday, April 13th. Second placed last year in the 111th edition, Team Belkin’s Belgian aims to contend the victory to the other hot favourites, starting from title holder Fabian Cancellara: both were on the Tour of Flanders’ podium last week as well.
One of cycling Monument Classics, the Paris-Roubaix features 28 demanding cobbled sectors forabout 50 kilometers overall. Vanmarcke will tackle the French pavé on Infinito CV, the ideal bicycle for riding on bumpy road surfaces, thanks to the Countervail® vibration cancelling technology and the specific endurance geometry of the frame. The Countervail® vibration cancelling technology cancels the road vibrations while increasing frame rigidity, reducing muscle fatigue and improving riding control.
Team Belkin will also count on Lars Boom, Tom Leezer, Bram Tankink, Maarten Tjallingii, Jos van Emden, Robert Wagner and Maarten Wynants, all equipped with Infinito CV.
