The eight-stage Amgen Tour of California returns to the left coast with the opening circuit race May 11 around Sacramento’s historic Capitol Building. SRAM’s tradition of support continues at “America’s greatest stage race” including participating SRAM sponsored teams and athletes, SRAM Neutral Race Support, The ATOC Women‘s Circuit Race and Time Trial Powered by SRAM, the Lifestyle Festival Expo, SRAM Ride Experience, plus the continuing NBC Sports daily video feature, the “Tour Insider Powered by SRAM.”

For the fourth straight year, Olympians, World Champions, National Champions, as well as some of the best female athletes ever to take to two wheels, will compete in the 12.5 mile (20.1 km) time trial that takes place Monday, May 12.

For the fifth year rolling SRAM’s Neutral Race (NRS) support crew will keep the professionals rolling over ATOC’s 800 miles. Four fully equipped Volvo’s along with two Aprilia motos, and 13 technicians will be at the front, back, and middle of the peloton with SRAM, Zipp, and Quarq equipped bikes for eight days of neutral race service.
SRAM will also be present in the Lifestyle Festival Expo where everyone can see, taste and touch the latest, lightest and fastest componentry, plus enter to win gear from SRAM, ZIPP, and Quarq by simply writing your own HAIKU! It’s easy and the SRAM team will show you how. Stop by for details.
