Triple Eight, the industry leading action sports protective gear company, is expanding its Bike Line with the launch of four new helmets along with other new bike protective gear.
“As the only New York based protective gear company, Triple Eight has a unique perspective on what it takes to make protective gear tough enough to survive the big city. We are excited to leverage our action sports heritage and bring our industry leading technology and trendsetting designs to new segments of the bike market,” said Bobby Oppenheim, Triple Eight President.
Long known for the Brainsaver Helmet, with its classic skate-shell style, Triple Eight will be debuting four new helmets, each aimed at a unique segment of the bike market.
The first of the new helmets, the Gotham, is available now. The Gotham helmet takes style, comfort and safety to a new level for the Urban Commuter market. With a subtle brim and Triple Eight logo vent, the helmet features a custom Adjustable Fit Dial System, patented Conehead EPS liner technology and reflective branding for safety.
To accompany the Gotham helmet, Triple Eight has developed key accessories for the Urban Commuter including a custom Gotham Ride Cap, a Gotham Ride Beanie and a NYC Messenger Bag in collaboration with Manhattan Portage.
Other helmets launching soon are:
- Compass: MTB/Enduro Helmet with a lightweight in-mold design for tackling mountain trails or dodging traffic & potholes in the bike lane
- Invader: Full Face Helmet for hitting jumps and bombing hills & trails
- Lil 8: Youth Helmet designed to let the littlest riders wear the classic Triple Eight Style
