Children’s bike specialist Frog Bikes collaborates with Team Sky on a stylish new range of lightweight bikes released this autumn.
Leading kid’s bicycle specialist, Frog Bikes, has joined forces with one of the world’s best professional cycling teams, Team Sky. The collaboration will see the release of a new range of stylish, high quality and lightweight kids’ bikes.
Both Frog Bikes and Team Sky are passionate about encouraging children to cycle, working together to create practical, quality products which will inspire youngsters to get out and about. The new range, which will be unveiled at this years’ Eurobike, will embody these ideals.
The Team Sky’s Kid’s Bike range will include a balance bike, a first pedal bike along with hybrid and road bikes in a variety of sizes, suitable for children aged between 2 and 14. From their first moments on a balance bike, to their first race, the range gives children the opportunity to learn and improve on their riding skills, gain confidence, and most importantly, have fun whilst cycling.
Each bike in the range features the qualities Frog Bikes stand for – lightweight frame, slim-grip brakes and narrow handlebars; all features specifically tailored for younger riders. The new range will follow the aesthetic of Team Sky, featuring the iconic ‘blue line’ used throughout the team’s kit and bikes. They aim to make kids look and feel like a pro. Available to buy from independent bicycle stores, this affordable range will be released this autumn. Visit teamsky.com/kids for more information.
Carsten Jeppesen, Head of Technical Operations at Team Sky comments, “As experts in producing and developing kids’ bikes, Frog Bikes, has created an impressive range which is superbly designed for young riders. Frog shares our determination to give children the best opportunity to enjoy cycling.”
While Jerry Lawson, Founder of Frog Bikes, comments that, “Frog Bikes is dedicated to making cycling fun and accessible, and therefore delighted to be collaborating with Team Sky. With our shared passion for encouraging more kids to ride, we are excited to launch this brand new range of high-quality, lightweight and affordable bikes so kids can get out and enjoy themselves.”
