Hincapie Sports unveils Fall 2014 Collection in advance of Interbike

Hincapie Sportswear has unveiled its Fall 2014 Collection, featuring cycling apparel designed for all types of riders from the weekend warrior to the seasoned athlete. The seasonal refresh includes the brand new Colombia Collection for men, as well as updates and additions to several existing lines.

Es Pasión

The newest addition to the Hincapie line is the Es Pasión series, inspired by Colombia’s passion for the sport of cycling.

The series’ vibrant colors and design pay homage to Colombia’s rich cycling culture, while the variety of garments offer riders comfort and performance from the warm days of early autumn to the cold days of winter. The series launches with nine pieces:

● Es Pasión Vest: A winter weight, fleeced-lined vest with BodE Thermal HeatTM stretch knit fabric for moisture wicking and unsurpassed insulation. Features a two-way zipper and three roomy pockets with reflective trim.

● Es Pasión Long-Sleeve Jersey: A classic Colombian themed jersey ready with insulating, moisture-wicking QuadroHot fabric ideal for the cool rides of fall. Features three rear pockets and reflective trim on sleeves.

● Es Pasión Rain Jersey: A fleece-lined jersey with AcquaZero© water repellent surface ideal for cold, wet conditions. Features a full-zip front and three back pockets.

● Es Pasión Jersey: A high-performance jersey with super-fine TourTekTM fabric that wicks away moisture away from the skin and hugs the body to reduce drag. Construction offers SPF 30+ protection.

● Es Pasión Bibshort: Shorts constructed of AT2 TourTM Lycra® Power and Lightweight TourTekTM Compressor for a comfortable fit and maximum performance.

● Accessories for the Es Pasión line include: Rain/Arm Warmers, Knee Warmers, Shoe Covers and Headband.

Chantilly

Hincapie’s successful Chantilly line, which saw its premiere in the spring, now receives a number of pieces for Fall 2014 . Designed by women, the Chantilly series matches elegant designs with innovative smart fabrics to deliver high-tech performance features in feminine garments that are both stylish and comfortable.

New additions include the Long Sleeve Jersey, which features QuadroHot fabric for insulation and brushed inner layer of moisture-wicking fibers, and the Capri, a functional 3⁄4 length pant with plush BodE Thermal HeatTM fleece-backed fabric for optimal insulation and breathability in cold conditions. The Chantilly Headband also features BodE Thermal HeatTM fleece-backed fabric. Each item is available in a choice of four colors.

Vantage Collection

Hincapie’s Vantage series offers race-worthy apparel with bold styling, durability and comfort, making the garments the go-to choice for everyday use. Hincapie is adding three new items to the line for Fall 2014:

The Vantage Long Sleeve Jersey is built to achieve the ultimate level of comfort and functionality, with QuadroHot fabric for insulation and moisture-wicking interior fibers.

The Vantage Bib Knicker features winter-weight, fleeced-lined BodE Thermal HeatTM stretch knit fabric for excellent moisture wicking and unsurpassed insulation.

The fleece-backed Vantage Headband rounds out the collection.

Arenberg Zero Accessories

A new knee warmer, shoe cover and cap have been added to the popular Zero series’ jacket and vest.

The Zero Jacket, which is available in both men’s and women’s styles, and the Zero Vest (men’s only) are crafted from textured, 4-way stretch MTX Wind RepelTM fabric in order to provide a conforming fit while insulating from cold temperatures. They also feature HyperOptic RoubaixTM reflective treatment for superior visibility, and a Super RoubaixTM back panel for added warmth and breathability. The Zero line is an ideal choice for long winter rides.

New Hincapie Casual

Hincapie’s Casual line is designed athletes looking for style and comfort both on and off the bike, with two new garments for Fall 2014.

The Fahrenheit Vest, a highly compactible, insulated vest perfect for before and after a winter ride. It easily stows into its own internal pocket and can fit inside a jersey pocket, and features a water resistant coating.

The Soigner Jacket offers sleek wind and cold protection for travel to and from a race thanks to the warm, moisture-wicking Body Thermal DryTM fabric.
