Team LottoNL-Jumbo unveils new Bianchi Oltre XR.2
Team LottoNL-Jumbo recently held their winter training camp in Alicante, Spain, giving the public the first view of their all new Bianchi Oltre.X2 team bikes.
As we previously reported, the team bikes are the first from the Italian manufacturer to feature a full celeste paint job for many years (previous Bianchi pro bikes have used celeste in a mix with black or white graphics).
The frame is built to combine design and performance. It is a super light frame with Ultra Thin Seat Stays (UTSS Technology) for optimal climbing performance. Aerodynamic shaping, with a new integrated aero fork and internal cable routing serve to make the bike faster on the flat and downhill segments. Larger chain stays and down tube, together with a 86.5x41mm bottom bracket area, make Team Lotto NL-Jumbo’s Oltre XR.2 more rigid.
Like all 2015 range’s Bianchi new models, Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Oltre XR.2 will feature the logo of Bianchi’s 130th anniversary.
SRAM updates Service Course line of stems and seatposts
SRAM has released a completely redesigned line of Service Course and Service Course SL stems and seatposts that aim to provide more fitting options along with best-in-class stiffness to weight ratios.
New to the line is the Service Course SL-OS stem ($130). While designed for bikes with 1 1/4″ steer tubes, included shims allow it to be used with 1 1/8″ steerers with a broad range of angles.
The Service Course SL Seatpost has been redesigned to be even lighter while offering plenty of stiffness while offering compatibility with all common saddle rail types.
The value priced Service Course range receives updates as well. Most notable is the Service Course stem that gets a new shape for better stiffness to weight. The entire Service Course line gets a bead blast finish and laser etched graphics.
