Premium trainer brand Kinetic today released its list of 2015 sponsored cycling teams, programs, and triathletes. There are twenty-four sponsored entities.
Notably, Kinetic has continued to support each team and athlete from its 2014 roster. The addition of six new sponsorships has doubled Kinetic’s commitment to cyclo-cross and triathlon and increased its involvement with mountain biking and professional women’s cycling.
“Our themes this year are ‘loyalty’ and ‘depth’,” described Kinetic marketing manager David Simpson. “We are very happy with the sponsorship balance we’ve cultivated, and the brand ambassadors who work with us. Our roster includes women’s and men’s, amateur and professional, domestic and international, road and mountain, and tri and cyclo-cross. Our sponsorships mirror the wide range of athletes who benefit from using our products.”
The new teams sponsored by Kinetic in 2015 include: Matrix Pro Cycling, a UCI Pro Women’s Team from the UK, Stan’s No Tubes Elite CX Team, Noosa Yogurt Professional CX Team, professional triathlete Eva Wutti, the Pewag Racing Team, and Norway’s Septura Toyota Racing with Birk, a UCI Pro Mountain Biking team.
“We became aware of some of our new teams thanks to our European distributor partners,” explained Simpson. “Meanwhile, in the US, I’m particularly proud of our increased commitment to cyclo-cross and Kinetic’s ongoing support of NICA, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.”
A Founding Sponsor of the high school mountain biking league, Kinetic provides a neutral warm-up tent and trainers at NICA races, a team purchase program that supports local bike shops, and coaches’ training information. “We think it’s pivotal to support the next generation of our sport,” said Simpson.
Kinetic, which is known for its quality workmanship and precision engineering, provides its sponsored athletes with trainers such as the Road Machine stationary trainer or theRock and Roll, the only trainer that simulates the feel of balancing and riding a bike outside on pavement. It also provides useful training and warm-up accessories including its inRide app, traxles, riser rings, and trainer mats.
