On Saturday and Sunday, November 7th and 8th 2015, the Philly Bike Expo returns for its sixth year. The premier East Coast bicycling event will once again be held at Philadelphia’s premier event venue, the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The Philly Bike Expo continues to expand its scope to further its mission of embracing and celebrating all aspects of bicycle culture.
New for this year: a gravel bike seminar, a presentation from BikeCAD, a live demo from custom headbadge artist Jen Green, and the framebuilders’ panel will include two female framebuilders. Brett Fleming of Efficient Velo Tools will be speaking on “Creative Practices for Service Department Management” which he presents annually at Interbike. Brett will also be doing two consumer seminars on crash avoidance and derailleur adjusting.
The 2015 framebuilders’ raffle will award gift certificates from Mel Pinto Imports, White Industries, and Peter White Cycles which the winners can use to purchase tools and components from companies that support the show. Richard Sachs will be donating items as well. It is a thank-you to the builders who create today’s bicycles. Along with the displays and exhibits, how-to’s and talks, there will be food and drink, rides, races and after parties to round out the weekend.
