Jeremy Powers, four-time U.S National Champion, 2015 Pan-American Champion and owner of Aspire Racing announced today that both Aspire Racing and the JAM Fund will wear fi’zi:k shoes for the upcoming 2016-17 cyclocross season.
“Working with a brand as iconic as fi’zi:k is a privilege, the products they make are category leaders, their support in addition to their incredible products make this partnership a win for Aspire Racing and JAM Fund Cycling,” said Jeremy Powers. “Having fi’zi:k see the value we bring in our programs means the world to us, it’s what helps us continue to make an impact, inspire more up and coming riders and help more athletes achieve their dreams both on and off the bike.”
fi’zi:k and Powers have had a long-term relationship, with fi’zi:k serving as the program’s long-time official saddle and bar tape provider. The expanded relationship will also include both newly signed Ellen Noble, who has cemented herself as the brightest star in the youth movement of American Cyclocross as well as Powers’ development program, the JAM Fund.
“We want to be the link among the athlete and the machine, we started this in 1996 with our saddles, and have expanded from there to bar tape and now shoes,“ said Nicolò Ildos, Marketing and Racing Manager for fi’zi:k. ““We have a really long-term relationship with Jeremy, together we’ve shared years of passion, hard work and success so when we realized it was possible to have Jeremy and his programs on all fi’zi:k equipment adding the shoes it was just the natural choice.”Aspire Racing and the JAM Fund will race on the M3B shoes that are the perfect shoes to hit trails and cross course, featuring a stiff outsole together with a really comfortable upper part.
Saddle wise, the program will continue to race on the Aliante VS, a saddle that features a relief channel to accommodate the hard stress the intensity of cx generates. Powers has worked with fi’zi:k to continue to improve the saddle by providing feedback throughout the partnership, which has resulted in the best foam formulation on the market.
