To celebrate the 99th edition of the Giro d’Italia, Speedplay has released a limited edition of their Zero pedal system in the iconic color of the leader of the Italian grand tour, pink.
Available in stainless steel or titanium with the new walkable aero cleats, the Speedplay Zero is one of the lightest pedal systems on the market, and feature dual-sided entry. The stainless pedals are said to weight 103 grams and the titanium version at 82 grams. The walkable aero cleats add 100 grams if your shoes are drilled for four holes, 188 grams if you need the three hole adaptor.
Pricing is set at $214 for the stainless version and $350 for the titanium, a $15 upcharge for the limited edition color.
If you are attending the Amgen Tour of California or NEMBA Fest in Lyndonville, VT, you’ll have a chance to check out the entire line of pedals and accessories from Speedplay. This includes a chance to demo the new Speedplay Syzr off-road pedals. Everyone that demos the Syzr pedals will be eligible to win a pair.
