We caught up with Jake Sitler earlier this year at a local race in Marietta, PA. Born across the river and down the road a little in York, Sitler had a large cheering section of family and friends supporting him at the Historic Marietta Criterium. After watching his sister race, it was time for the Astellas rider to get out and do his thing. Sitler is currently in China at the Tour of Fuzhou, wrapping up the season with Astellas, who will be calling time at the end of the season. Sitler will continue on in 2017 with CCB Racing Velotooler, aboard the Van Dessel Motivus Maximus, a bike we previously reviewed and highly praised for its versatility and incredible ride.

The Specialized Allez DSW SL Sprint is made from the brand’s premium E5 aluminum hydroformed tubing with D’Aluisio Smartweld Sprint Technology (DSW) construction. The bike has almost a lugged style design, using a bottom bracket and head tube assembly, with hydroformed tubes joining them together. Specialized claims the DSW construction method makes for a light, stiff, and comfortable bike, great for criterium racing on a budget. A full carbon fork rounds out the frame.

Along with Specialized (bikes and helmets), FFWD (wheels), SRAM (groupset), Ritchey (bars, stem, tape), HT (pedals), Vittoria (tires), Garmin (cyclo-computer), Pactimo (kits), Northwave (shoes), and Handup Gloves (gloves) all contributed to the teams success on the road this season.

Check out the pics below to see what Sitler was riding this season.
