UCI Announce Road World Championships Rider Allotments and Team Time Trial Invites

The UCI has announced how many riders from each country are eligible for the 2017 Road World Championships in Bergen, Norway. National federations have until the end of August to confirm how many riders they will be sending for the individual time trial and road race, and invited trade teams have until the 22nd to confirm their participation in the team time trial.

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce the list of nations qualified for the 2017 UCI Road World Championships in Bergen, Norway, and the quotas of athletes allocated to them.

Since the introduction of a single points scale for men’s professional road cycling in 2017, the Men Elite quotas are calculated based on the UCI World Ranking.

According to new UCI Regulations for the Men Elite Road Races, National Federations have until the 31st of August to confirm the number of athletes entered.

Concerning the Team Time Trial, the UCI publishes the list of men and women’s teams which are qualified, or have been invited. They have until the 22nd of August to confirm their participation.

be reallocated by the UCI. Non-qualified nations may submit a request to be granted one reallocated quota.
