State Bicycle Co. releases lighter, stiffer Undefeated II fixed gear bike

  • Ron

State Bicycle Company, leaders of the fixed gear/single speed bike market, has released the newest addition to their lineup of tasteful and well-crafted fixed gear bikes: The Undefeated II, Black & White Edition.

Straight out of the box, the Undefeated II is a race-ready, beast of a machine. State Bicycles managed to shave off 2 ½ lbs from the original model, helping the Undefeated II tip the scales at an incredible 15lbs and 6oz of lightweight speed. This was achieved by utilizing new 7005 Aluminium Double Butted Tubing and an oversized-tapered head tube that bring the weight down while increasing overall stiffness in the front end for superior handling and responsiveness.

Designed for high speed fixed-gear crits this bike boasts style, innovation, and the perfect build of race worthy components. The pedigree of the original Undefeated comes through in the updated Undefeated II Black & White Edition and truly stands out with it’s bold new geometric lines and striking paint job.

The Undefeated II features an outstanding list of premium parts from the SRAM Omnium Cranks to the Michelin Tires and Ritchey components. The Essor USA Bolt 31 flip/flop wheelset is an added bonus, being both lightweight enough to race (1736g) while still durable enough to take a beating on the street. The new frame’s oversized-tapered head tube receives a matching Essor USA full carbon fork, for sharp handling and a nimble, responsive feel. The new Undefeated II is the State Bicycle Co.’s most responsive and powerful machine yet, and is the perfect tool for mastering fixed-gear crits or the harsh streets of your hometown.
