fi’zi:k has developed the first knit-material road shoe in the Infinito R1 Knit: a revolutionary design for increased performance and optimum temperature control.

Seen for the first time in a road shoe, the lightweight, highly ventilated, comfortable knitted fabric works in harmony with the proven technology of fi’zi:k’s high performance racing road footwear and, combining fi’zi:k’s new technology and pro rider feedback, takes comfort, fit and performance to new levels.

Infinito R1 Knit is named after its unique fabric and the new Infinito Closure System; an evolution in adjustable shoe fit and comfort. The Infinito Closure System is a new dimension of infinite fit providing increasing Volume Control and providing maximum comfort, with its double Boa IP1-B closure system threading steel-coated nylon laces in an infinite configuration, micro-adjusting to enclose the upper forefoot. The use of carefully positioned textile guides eliminates pressure points.

The Infinito R1 Knit’s new Dynamic Arch Support system works with the Increased Volume Control upper to adapt perfectly to fit any rider’s foot, with the knitted material offering optimum flexibility along with support. The new Infinito mesh footbed combines structured support for further enhanced comfort so riders can focus on results.

Precision-engineered Ventilation

Working in perfect sync with fi’zi:k’s leading performance shoe technologies, R1 Knit provides ventilation like no other cycling footwear.

The advanced yarn of ultra high-strength fibers delivers exceptional ventilation for staying cool under pressure.

Working with the knitted upper, temperature management is enhanced by the full unidirectionalcarbon fiber outsole. Its vent and exhaust system is designed to stay cool, even when putting down the power in the hottest riding conditions. The sole is engineered to produce a highly stiff, light sole, the UD carbon also gives riders the best power transfer possible.

Available only in its special Black/Red colorway, Infinito R1 Knit has the fi’zi:k logo embossed on the heel and de-bossed on upper toe outer.
