Eat. Race. Win at the Tour de France

  • Ron

Amazon today announced that docuseries EAT. RACE. WIN., formerly known as the untitled Hannah Grant series, will premiere on Friday, July 27, exclusively on Prime Video. The Prime Original follows Grant, the first female chef at the famed Tour de France cycling race, and the 2017 Orica-Scott team. All six episodes will be available to stream on this date, which coincides with the release of Grant’s newest cookbook of the same name.

EAT. RACE. WIN. is a behind-the-scenes, off-the-bike adventure into the biggest annual sporting event on the planet: The Tour de France. Chef Hannah Grant takes Prime members on her race within the race as she sources performance food for Australia’s pro cycling team, Orica-Scott. As Orica-Scott’s Sports Director Matthew White encourages his riders to victory, Grant and her team expertly create a daily menu of food that’s rich in taste and geared to fuel riders for over 2200 grueling miles. Along the Tour and across the culinary landscape of France, Grant—known as the Queen of Performance Cooking and the first chef of elite pedigree in racing—shows us exactly what it takes to perform at the edge of human endurance for 21 race days.

Grant is a chef, sports nutrition coach and recipe developer. She is a veteran of Fat Duck, working alongside Heston Blumenthal, and of Noma, where she worked with René Redzepi. Her first cookbook, The Grand Tour Cookbook, released in 2015, was the inspiration for the series and is available on Amazon.com.

EAT. RACE. WIN. is executive produced by Grant and Christof Bove, and produced by Junto Entertainment.

Prime members will be able to stream EAT. RACE. WIN. exclusively via the Prime Video app for TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, mobile devices and online at amazon.com/eatracewin. Members can also download the series to mobile devices for offline viewing at no additional cost to their membership. The series will be a global release and available on PrimeVideo.com for Prime Video members in more than 200 countries and territories.

Customers who are not already Prime members can sign up for a free trial at www.amazon.com/prime. For a list of all Prime Video compatible devices, visit www.amazon.com/howtostream.
