After the introduction of their Rally MTB line in 2014, ASSOS goes deeper into the sport with their new All-Mountain Trail collection, premiering in Summer 2019. The collection represents a new path forward for the brand, one that leaves the tarmac and trades aerodynamics for adaptable comfort, streamlined constructions, and trail-focused features.
Tuned for MTB riders who demand the most from their equipment, the range comprises:
TRAIL Liner Shorts (men and women) MSRP $139
Using their rallyBoxer shorts as a template, ASSOS designed the Trail Liner Shorts using a new front panel and updated waist design to keep you comfortably supported on the trail.
Designed to work in harmony with our Trail Cargo Shorts for the perfect lower body foundation, the Liner Shorts blend lightweight support, comfort, and impact protection into a trail-focused first layer.
TRAIL Cargo Shorts (men and women) MSRP $149
The Trail Cargo Shorts take the concept of adaptable, all-mountain shorts to a new realm, made possible by streamlined tailoring and progressive materials. They’ve been developed with a waistband that smoothly holds the shorts in place, a cut that’s trim around the crotch to avoid saddle snag, a length that’s ideal with or without pads, and a versatile new fabric that flexes with each pedal stroke.
TRAIL SS Jersey (men and women) MSRP $119
The new trailFit falls on the trim side of loose, yet is cut for the varying positions encountered during a demanding trail ride. The circular-knit Triangle textile is tough, breathes well, and pulls moisture away from the skin so you stay fresh hammering up the trail and dry on the descent. Following this theme of airiness, ASSOS added new bi-stretch 3-Mesh fabric to the underarms to keep the air moving throughout the jersey.
Colors (man): corfu Blu / Mugo Green / Rodo Red
Colors (woman): Twilight Purple / Pan Green / Cactus Purple
TRAIL LS Jersey (men and women) MSRP $149
Similar in construction to the SS version, this jersey features ASSOS proprietary dyneRope, a densely woven armor-like textile acclaimed for its exceptional durability. They targeted the vulnerable forearm region of the jersey to help protect against tree limbs, shrubbery, and other trail hazards.
Colors (man): corfu Blu / Mugo Green / Rodo Red
Colors (woman): Twilight Purple / Pan Green / Cactus Purple
TRAIL Arm Protectors (MSRP $75) & Knee Protectors (MSRP $89)
Incorporating dyneRope once again, these protectors help to keep you shielded from trail hazards. Also included in the construction is ASSOS Titanio textile, which is a soft flexible material that adds UPF50+ protection for those long, sunny days in the saddle.
FF Gloves (MSRP $79)
ASSOS used a durable 3D Mesh on the palm, and then covered it with light, perforated padding at the top and outer section, plus the thumb, where our hands tend to “weight” the bar. The fingertips have also been wrapped in a tough double layer, with silicone treatment on the first two fingers for brake lever control. The flexible cuff molds to your wrist, providing a near-custom fit without any irritation.
