Less than 2 months after the release of eTap AXS shifting at the RED and Eagle levels, SRAM has made eTap AXS available for their mid-market Force groupset.
Force eTap AXS takes all of the key features of RED eTap AXS – modern gearing, advanced chain management, and easy personalization – in a more affordable package for the rest of us.
Like big brother RED, the Force line incorporates all of the technology: AXS integrated shifting, the Flattop chain, DUB bottom bracket standard, the new XDR driver body, Orbit derailleur motion control, X-Range cassettes and more.
There are some compromises. Force eTap AXS groups come in 250-500g heavier than their RED counterparts, and Force loses the 50/37T (2x) and 50T (1x) chainrings of the RED groups. All that said, you’ll see close to $1000 more in your pocket for the sacrifice.
Like RED, the Force groups and complete bikes sporting the groupset are available now.
