Muc-Off launches bike-specific pressure washer

  • Ron

Muc-Off has announced the launch of the world’s first pressure washer designed purely for use with both bicycles and motorbikes. The product concept was developed from the ground up, specifically for two-wheel fanatics.

Standard power washers are often too powerful to wash bikes, forcing water and dirt into even sealed bearings and frames, hastening their wear. The Muc-Off Pressure Washer includes three lances: a lower pressure version for bicycles, a higher pressure version for motorcycles and an adjustable pressure version that can be used just for tires or heavier dirt spots.

Muc-Off has also designed a specific low-pressure snow foam lance (available separately) that won’t damage any delicate parts but transforms your bottle of Muc-Off Nano Tech Bike Cleaner into thick, snow foam for the ultimate and efficient deep clean.

Each part of the gun and lance is coated in a soft touch matt black finish, not only for user comfort but to lower the chance of damage if the nozzle knocks accidently against a bike. A high-pressure hose with metal contact points for durability is also included.

The premium 1200W carbon brush motor gives a max flow rate of 6.5L/Min and a max pressure of 100 bar, and is all housed in a tough, impact resistant, modified co-polymer outer casing to cope with life on the move. Also available separately is a custom dry bag carry case, designed to easily store the pressure washer, and keeping all available peripherals within easy reach.

Pressure washer bundles including both the bag and snow foam lance are also available.

“I’m so excited to see the Muc-Off Pressure Washer out in the wild. It’s been a labour of love for me and the team for years, and after hundreds of prototypes I’m delighted to say that we’re really happy with the final result. To be able to give our customers a product that answers one of the biggest challenges in cleaning your bicycle or motorcycle, is something I’m super proud of. Can’t wait to see it in full effect this summer!” – Alex Trimnell, Muc-Off CEO
