Campagnolo Club, an international cycling club of Campagnolo® brand passionates, announces today the Club formation and a design contest for the 2020 Club Kit. The Campagnolo Club is an independent enthusiast or fan club of Campagnolo®, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recommended by Campagnolo Srl.
A member-based organization of Campy™ loyalists from around the world, the Campagnolo Club is open to all cyclist types and riding abilities including Amateur, Professional, Recreational and Sport. Benefits of membership include discounts on Club kit, savings on Campagnolo® and other Italian cycling product brands, exclusive offers on Campagnolo Club merchandise and travel including group rides, tours and training camps, and an annual dividend or profit sharing based on membership type.
There are five levels of membership with Campagnolo Club, and each is based on the leader or special classification jerseys of the Giro d’Italia. Membership starts at $19.33 annually, Campagnolo’s first year of industrial production for its Quick Release, and all members receive 50% off Club kit, a shopping discount and free shipping. The main differentiating points of membership levels are discount amount, and eligibility for an annual dividend and profit sharing.
Any Club membership taken out before January 1, 2020 will be valid through December 31, 2020, or over 12-months. In addition, Members who refer friends, family or acquaintances with a paid membership will receive $19.33 per referral, up to the cost of their membership. Finally, the first 33 Campagnolo® brand passionates to become Members with the Campagnolo Club will be considered “Founding Members”, and may have to be determined additional benefits.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and the Campagnolo Club sought to create a brand experience that exuded the Campagnolo® aesthetic, as if the Italian company itself had created the Club. A primary objective of the Campagnolo Club is to create a sense of community around the brand, and steering committee members included consumers, distributors, manufacturers and retailers. The Campagnolo Club has virtual offices in Italy and the United States, and can be found online at www.campagnolo.club; Campagnolo Club is expecting to establish affiliate Chapters worldwide.
