SCICON announces eyewear deal with Israel Start-Up Nation

SCICON Sports, the leader in high performance eyewear, bags and accessories for professionals and enthusiasts, has partnered with WorldTour Israel Start-Up Nation for 2020 on a two year deal; providing riders and staff with their high performance range of eyewear and luggage options.

This year saw the introduction of SCICON’s high performance and premium sports lifestyle eyewear ranges. Featuring SCN-XT photochromic lens technology, in partnership with Essilor Sun Solution, the AeroComfort, AeroTech and SCICON’s lifestyle sunglasses, all of which will be worn at WorldTour level by Israel Start-Up Nation.

Israel Start-Up Nation’s ranks boast such riders as André Greipel, Dan Martin, Alex Dowsett and Nils Politt, with success stretching from grand tour stage wins such as Le Tour de France and Giro d’Italia, to impressive showings at Paris – Roubaix.

The team’s technical staff were impressed by the capabilities of SCICON’s products, subsequently choosing them as the official team partner for both eyewear and bags. More than 50 SCICON products have been developed with the insight of professional athletes, soigneurs, sports directors and mechanics, something which will continue over the coming season with the help of this new WorldTour outfit.
