Over the past 25 years, Muc-Off, the UK based specialist in bike care, have put consumer needs, innovation and agility at the heart of their business. Building on this, is the launch of a new antibacterial hand sanitizer, designed in the UK, but made in the US.
“We are stoked to have been able to manufacture our first ever product in the US. We usually work under high pressure to create products that win bike races. Facing into the headwinds of the pandemic has been tough. With our performance background, we have stepped up a gear to be able to make and launch our new product in a matter of weeks.” – Alex Trimnell, Muc-Off CEO
With significant experience from creating the innovative antibacterial dry body wash and QUAT based antibacterial equipment cleaner, Muc-Off created a new focus to deliver a hand sanitizer that helps tackle germs for people whether they be on the go, at home, education or work.
The high performance hand sanitizer conforms to a World Health Organization (WHO) recommended formula. With its 80% alcohol content, it delivers strong stopping power by killing 99.99% of bacteria and high concentrations of alcohol destroy disease-causing agents and pathogens by breaking apart proteins and disrupting a cell’s metabolism.
With a quick drying high alcohol water thin liquid formulation and portable 4 fl. oz. precision drop bottle, the Muc-Off Hand Sanitizer is the go to protector for people on the move.
Muc-Off are also committing to supporting the global fight against Covid-19 by donating 10% of profits from the new sanitizer to the WHO Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund which coordinates efforts against the spread of the Coronavirus.
Muc-Off have also committed to donating 100,000 antibacterial products globally to front line key workers. This program has already started in the US with donations being made across Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, South Carolina and New York to medical teams, police and fire departments via Smart Warehousing who have provided logistics support to the Muc-Off team.
This new launch follows the recent introduction of a range of sanitizers & cleaners across Europe. Muc-Off plans to develop the range further for the US and Canada in the near future.
Available throughout the US and Canada from Muc-Off dealers, e-retailers and direct from us.muc-off.com.
