Donnelly Cycling has released a limited edition poster to support the Bahati Foundation. Limited to 250 prints, each having been signed by 10-time national champion Rahsaan Bahati, the money raised will support the foundation’s work in supporting inner-city youth by providing resources and access to the sport of cycling, arts, inspirational speakers, and STEM based educational programs. The foundation celebrated their 10th year in 2020. During the current COVID pandemic, they have continued to support youth and schools through their Motion Equals Health and Adopt-A-School programs.
“When Donnelly contacted us about the idea for the poster and presented the artwork, we were excited to make this happen,” stated Bahati Foundation Founder Rahsaan Bahati. “I’ve always admired Michael Valenti’s incredible work and am honored to be added to the list of amazing art he has created.”
The print, titled Cycling Equality Poster, is 24″ wide by 34″ tall, and is printed on high quality, steel grey Dur-O-Tone paper from French Paper Company. Each individually signed print will ship in a heavy-duty kraft paper mailing tube from Yazoo to protect your print while in transit.
“We landed on an image from the creative process for a road and criterium racing poster that we felt had a powerful and meaningful statement. We immediately realized this was a fundraising opportunity for the Bahati Foundation,” said Donnelly founder Donn Kellogg.
“For months, we had been discussing what we can do as a small company to make a statement about racial equality without it being just a statement,” stated Kellogg. “We are truly honored the Bahati Foundation was on board with this idea and that this will have a direct impact on Rahsaan’s mission.”
Each print is $250, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Bahati Foundation.
