Scottish brand Endura has recently launched the next generation of their FS260 line, with a range of colors to suit your tastes. This feature-packed kit not only looks good and performs well, but isn’t as hard on your wallet.
The second-tier FS260 line sits just behind the pro-level Pro SL, which is used by the likes of Team Movistar. The FS260 is more accessible to the average cyclist but still goes through the same rigorous design and testing that the Pro SL does, and features many trickledown features. For example, the FS260 uses the same Continuously Variable Profile (CVP) technology found in the Pro SL chamois to provide support where you need it and prevent it from bunching up.
Here’s a full rundown of the line:
FS260-PRO ADRENALINE RACE CAPE II – $109.99
This lightweight, waterproof rain jacket is ready to keep you dry, whether you are riding or racing. It features a translucent ExoShell20ST fabric that is light and packable, while still offering breathability. Even better, you can wear your team kit and number underneath when racing and still see through it. The FS260-Pro Adrenaline Race Cape II has built-in stretch to keep it from flapping in the wind and providing a streamlined fit. For visibility, there are reflective touches at the trim and the logos.
Sizes – XS-XXL
Colors – black, concrete grey, white, hi-viz blue, hi-viz yellow, and red
FS260-PRO ADRENALINE RACE GILET II – $89.99
When you don’t want or need a full jacket, the FS260-PRO Adrenaline Race Gilet II is your go-to. It features the same translucent ExoShell20St fabric and athletic cut to keep it nice and aero. It’s a great option when you need a little extra warmth or protection, but want to keep it extremely packable for a long day on the bike. Reflective touches provide visibility and it includes a small stuff sack for packing it away when not in use.
Sizes – XS-XXL
Colors – black and white
FS260-PRO JETSTREAM L/S JERSEY II – $124.99
For colder days, the Jetstream Long Sleeve Jersey II is the choice. It’s not your average thermal though. On the front and sleeves, Endura uses a windproof material coated in a DWR treatment to keep you dry as well. The sides and upper back portion of the jersey uses a thermal Roubaix material for warmth while remaining breathable, with a waterproof tail to protect you from spray. The rear pockets also include a waterproof zippered pocket. And just like the Race Cape II and Race Gilet II, the Jetstream Long Sleeve Jersey II includes reflective logos for visibility.
Sizes – S-XXL
Colors – black, navy, and red
FS260-PRO S/S JERSEY II – $89.99
For warmer temps, the FS260-Pro Short Sleeve Jersey II has you covered. Available in regular and relaxed fits, Endura hopes to help riders find the right cut for them, whether they are a pro or a weekend warrior. It is made from a sweat-wicking, breathable fabric with aerodynamic lycra sleeves with a raw edge. On the back, it has the traditional three pockets, along with a large center zipper pocket for items like your keys, ID, some cash, or even a nutrition bar. There is also a small outer pocket on the right to stash some gels in.
Sizes – S-XXL
Colors – black, white, hi-viz blue, hi-viz yellow, kingfisher, and rust red
FS260-PRO ADRENALINE WATERPROOF 3/4 – $104.99
Moving onto the bottoms, Endura knows a little bit about riding in the rain. They are from Scotland after all. For those wet days on the bike, go for the FS260-Pro Adrenaline Waterproof 3/4 knickers. These overshorts slide on overtop of your shorts and have a slim fit, making them at home on the road with the FS260-Pro Adrenaline Race Cape II or Gilet II. Just like these tops, the 3/4’s are made from the same ExoShell20ST fabric, making them waterproof and providing some transparency to show your team kit underneath and feature reflective logos for visibility. In saddle contact areas, they feature a tough material for durability.
Sizes – S-XXL
Colors – black
FS260-PRO BIBSHORT – $139.99
When it comes to bibs, the FS260-PRO Bibshort is one of Endura’s best sellers. In its third instance, the FS260-PRO bibshort features their 600 series chamois. As mentioned in the opening, it has Endura’s exclusive Continuously Variable Profile (CVP) technology which provides support and cushioning where it is needed, and removes it where it is not, giving it all-day comfort and keeps the chamois from bunching up. The lower portion of the bibs uses an Italian Power Lycra to give an optimal blend of support and comfort, while the upper remains breathable using a wicking stretch mesh. At the bottom of the legs, it features a raw edge power band with a fine silicone gripper inside to help keep them in place and remain chafe-free. Reflective touches provide visibility in low-light conditions.
Sizes – S-XXL
Colors – black/black, black/white, black/rust red, and black/red, navy/hi-viz blue
FS260-PRO THERMO BIBSHORT – $129.99
For cooler days, the FS260-PRO Thermo Bibshorts have you covered. Similar to the regular FS260-PRO bibshorts with the 600 Series pad and almost all other features, they swap in a Thermoroubaix fabric with a DWR M treatment to keep you warm and dry. The thermal material continues into the upper, and there is a handy zipper on the front for nature breaks when needed.
It is available in S-XXL and comes in black with trim in black.
FS260-PRO THERMO BIBTIGHTS II – $169.99
For even colder days, grab the FS260-PRO Thermal Bibtights II. They are the full-length version of the Thermo Bibshorts, making them a no-nonsense piece of kit that will take you through the cold months of the year. They have an ankle zip to make them easier to get on and off, and reflective trim on both calves for visibility.
It is available in S-3XL and comes in black with trim in black.
FS260-PRO THERMO WARMERS
The final bit of kit will help manage the cool days, warmers. Endura offers the FS260-PRO level warmers in knee, full leg, and arm warmers. They use the same Thermoroubaix as the Thermo Bibshorts and Bibtights, offering warmth and water repellency. The upper part of all of these warmers have grippers on both the inside to keep them in place, and the outside to keep your jersey or bibs in place over top of them, along with grippers at the bottom to keep them in place there too. The leg warmers come in a full-length zippered version or a standard version with an ankle zipper.
They are available in knee, leg, and full-zip leg in S/M, L/XL, and arm warmers in S/M, M/L, and L/XL.
So there you have it, the full line of Endura’s FS260-PRO kit. We’ll be getting some in for review, so watch for future articles.
