Mountain bike component manufacturer PNW Components has released their new alloy Loam Pedal. The all-new pedal features a super slim platform with what they call “the Goldilocks zone” – just enough grip to feel connected to the bike, but not so much that you can’t move your foot. The pedals also feature a moderate concave shape – again, enough to enhance grip, but not so much that it fatigues your foot on long rides.
Manufactured from forged and CNCed 6061 aluminum alloy, the pedal features sealed cartridge and roller bearings and weigh just 445 grams per pair. As with all of PNW’s products, it comes with a lifetime warranty.
Retailing for $99, the Loam Pedal is currently available in black, nickel, and purple finishes, but PNW says that more colors are on the way.
