11 years after its withdrawal from elite XC competition, Lapierre is returning to the highest level of world XC mountain biking with the LAPIERRE MAVIC Unity team with the ambition to shine in the biggest events on the UCI XCO and XCC circuit. These disciplines have become spectacular and popular once again, attracting more and more spectators and television viewers thanks to the evolution of its tracks and television coverage.
Hot off the team’s official team launch last week, Malen Degn takes home a first-place finish last weekend at the Shimano Super Cup – MASSI in La Nucia, Spain. Capped off by Thomas Litscher grabbing a bronze, this team will be on fire this season so keep a close eye on them. They will be piloting their Lapierre XR (see it below) clad with the FSA KFX cranks/stem and handlebar.
