fizik’s new Omna Wide delivers a responsive, pure road cycling shoe for riders with wider feet – welcome news for me and my Fred Flinstone feet!
As the name suggests, the Omna Wide is a new incarnation of fizik’s popular Omna model – a responsive, pure road cycling shoe developed for competitive riders seeking race-ready features and performance.
The Omna Wide, which completes the Omna range, has been designed to provide an optimal fit for riders with wider feet, with a higher volume forefoot area being introduced around the ball of the foot and metatarsals.
Dial up the comfort
A lightweight PU upper makes the Omna Wide comfortable, highly ventilated and durable.
The closure system acts across a larger area and features BOA® textile lace guides which balance tension and eliminate pressure hot spots by pulling the eyelets inwards from numerous directions, also providing a more supportive and comfortable fit.
The single, bi-directional Li2 BOA® dial also allows cyclists to fine-tune their fit even further.
Power balanced
The newly redesigned R5 nylon outsole offers both comfort and moderate stiffness to promote efficient pedalling. The cleat positioning has been slightly set back to further
optimize pedaling and reduce knee compression, while a wide vent inlet provides a cooling airflow to aid temperature regulation.
Ready to race
With Omna Wide, fizik has created an advanced road shoe which provides performance akin to its top-tier models. Whether you’re training for your first race or tackling an epic climb, this shoe has the right features for your ride.
