Building on the momentum of 2023, Velocio is expanding the number of Ride Series events this year for a total of six cycling destinations across North America.
Each event—with group rides on expertly curated routes, a Velocio Pop-Up Store, and excellent food and company—will span two days, offering every attendee a chance to connect with the brand, its ambassadors, and the local community.
Here’s the 2024 schedule:
TUCSON, ARIZONA
February 10-11
Long a staple for those looking to escape the snowy northern states, Tucson is one of the hotbeds of American cycling in the winter months. Velocio is coming to hang out for a weekend at Presta Coffee, owned by our ambassador Curtis Zimmerman, with a full schedule of group rides, a pop-up and great food. Lifetime Grand Prix athlete and Velocio ambassador Alex Howes will be joining us all weekend long so swing on by the Mercado Presta location and come spend the weekend with us.
Location: Presta Coffee
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
January 6-7 | April 13-14 | July 13-14 | October 26-27
San Francisco is a wildly diverse and culturally rich epicenter. Steep city streets lead to rolling coastal hills for some of the best road cycling in the country, only to be outdone by the depth of the riding community.
Location: MATTINA
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
February 23-25 | April 27-28 | June 29-30 | Sept. 14-15
Beyond the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, the riding scene in Los Angeles provides ample amounts of entertainment that can rival even the most anticipated blockbuster movie. No wonder more of the world’s best riders are coming here to train and explore the cosmopolitan city.
Location: Pedalers Fork
BOULDER, COLORADO
June 8-9 | August 24-25 | October 12-13
Situated on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder is a cyclist’s playground. From packed gravel to winding canyon roads, the seemingly endless riding possibilities can be hard to comprehend.
Location: The Coffee Ride
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
May 18-19 | July 20-21 | Sept. 28-29
Along the shores of the third largest Great Lake, Lake Michigan, lies the Windy City of Chicago. Riding amongst iconic landmarks like the Willis (Sears) Tower and Frank Lloyd Wright homes is a robust cycling community that embodies Midwestern ideals and loves to show people a good time.
Location: Tala Coffee – Libertyville
WILTON, CONNECTICUT
April 6-7 | June 22-23 | August 3-4
Just outside the New York City metro area, find rolling hills, farmland and quiet roads surrounding the colonial town of Wilton, Connecticut. A quick drive or train ride can provide an escape for cyclists looking for a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the urban environment.
Location: Rise Donuts
Each event is free, although pre-registration is required for the groups rides. Registration, via BikeReg, will open approximately two weeks beforehand, and if 2023 is any indication, the rides will sell out quickly.
