Curious Creatures, a technical mountain bike apparel brand passionate about exploring the world by bike and creating clothing that is both high performance and wearable, is launching new apparel and colorways for the spring season.
With the introduction of new styles and expanded offerings, the latest collection continues to provide functional, high quality apparel. It offers something different in the mountain bike space. The collection shows a strong commitment to sustainability and inclusivity in the outdoors.

The new Men’s Sun Dog Short joins the Sun Dog Collection this season. Constructed from buttery-soft, four-way stretch 100% polyester fabric, these 12.5” inseam shorts provide exceptional comfort and freedom of movement. Designed for long days in the saddle, the lightweight, highly breathable fabric ensures optimal performance on and off the trail. The Men’s Sun Dog Short is available in sizes 28-40.
For women who love the Sun Dog Short but prefer a longer inseam, the new Bitterroot Bloom Short provides a bike-specific length. It has a length of 12.5” for added coverage and knee pad compatibility. It features the same wide, extra-comfy waistband and 100% polyester, four-way stretch fabric with two drop-in hand pockets in the front and back. The Women’s Bitterroot Bloom Short is available in sizes 0-20.

“Design and functionality come first at Curious Creatures,” says Natasha Woodworth, founder of Curious Creatures. “We listened to the needs of our customers, specifically the men who loved the comfort and performance of the Sun Dog Pant but wanted a short version for spring and summer riding. Our female customer loves the comfort and fit of our shorts offering but wanted a longer inseam option for more downhill days or park laps. With new additions like the Men’s Sun Dog Short and Women’s Bitterroot Bloom Short, we’re continuing our commitment to functional, and sustainable apparel that’s built for the bike first but equipped to take on any outdoor adventure.”
This season also brings fresh colorways for inline favorites. These include the Women’s Sun Dog Shorts and Women’s Corner Pocket Tee, which is made in the USA with recycled cotton. Also included are the Ramble Scramble Shorts and more. This expansion offers riders more options in high-performance and flattering riding apparel. “Refreshing our classics with new colorways is always exciting, and we take color very seriously. This season’s palette draws inspiration from the raw colors of the earth- ochre, browns, and saturated natural pigments found in the dirt we love to ride,” says Woodworth. “We’re giving riders even more ways to express themselves while enjoying the same trusted performance and comfort they love.”
Like most Curious Creatures apparel, these items are recyclable at the end of their life. The brand continues to partner with a local Montana repair shop to assist with any necessary repairs for well-loved shorts.
