Continental has launched three all-new MTB tires in April 2025. These tires are designed to provide riders with increased performance, durability, and ultimate grip on every trail. The Dubnital, Trinotal, and Magnotal sit alongside the acclaimed Gravity range. This ensures that every rider, from XC racers to trail enthusiasts, finds the perfect tire for their chosen terrain.
Built on years of expertise and extensive real-world testing, Continental’s latest tires inherit the trusted performance of the Gravity range. These models feature cutting-edge tread patterns. They use advanced casing technology. The design aims to enhance rider confidence. They tackle technical challenges and provide long-lasting durability. Whether on high-speed courses, they offer traction and control. On aggressive trails and all-mountain adventures, riders get what they need to push their limits.
The New MTB lineup:
Dubnital – Master of Speed
Dubnital is engineered for dry to damp conditions and is ideal for rocky, hardpack, and medium-loose soils. It is built to meet the needs of XC and downcountry riders who demand maximum speed. Dubnital is a direct successor to the beloved ‘Race King’. It takes performance to the next level with its cutting-edge tread. The tire features advanced rubber compounds. The result? Unmatched efficiency, grip, and control at high speeds.

Trinotal – Control the Terrain

Designed for versatility, Trinotal excels in dry to wet conditions and handles a mix of hard and loose soils. Perfect for XC and downcountry riders, this tire offers superior grip. It provides stability for confidently navigating a variety of terrains. Replacing the popular ‘Cross King’, Trinotal conquers the unpredictable challenges of modern trail riding with precision and control.
Magnotal – Dominate Wherever You Ride
Magnotal is built for aggressive all-mountain and trail riders seeking the perfect balance between performance and control. It thrives in dry to wet conditions, handling hard, loose, and muddy soils with ease. As the direct successor to the ‘Mountain King’, this all-rounder tire is versatile. It bridges the gap between gravity and XC/DC riding. It sets a new standard for versatility. Magnotal offers exceptional grip for riders pushing their limits on the most challenging terrain.

“Grip for every trail”
Commenting on the launch, Alexander Haenke, Product Manager for MTB & Gravel at Continental Tires, said: “With the introduction of Dubnital, Trinotal, and Magnotal, we are proud to complete the overhaul of our MTB lineup, finally replacing our iconic ‘Kings.’ The new models now seamlessly fit into the nomenclature and logic of our Gravity range tires, and give riders the freedom to use our portfolio as a playground to create their perfect setup.
“We’ve tested these tires with gold-medal-winning athletes to ensure they perform at the highest level—now it’s your turn to push their limits. While our technology has already been proven in the world of gravity, we’re excited to see how riders take them to new heights across other disciplines.”
