Tim Merlier took his third stage win in the 2024 Giro d’Italia, besting Jonathan Milan at the line. Tadej Pogacar led his team-mate Juan Sebastian Molano out with 2km to go but it wasn’t enough to upset the top sprinters.

Andrea Vendrame (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) attacked a nineteen man break with about 25km remaining to take a solo win in Stage 19 of the 2024 Giro d’Italia. It is his second win of the 2024 Giro.

The Maglia Rosa Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) has won Stage 15 of the 2024 Giro d’Italia, the 222 km long Manerba del Garda-Livigno (Mottolino). Pogacar maintained the maxi-breakaway under the control of his UAE Team Emirates to attack his GC rivals 15km before the end.

Filippo Ganna powered to one more victory against the clock at the 2024 Giro d’Italia, something he’s been used to since 2020. He rode to the Garda Lake 29 seconds faster than Tadej Pogacar while his team-mate Thymen Arensman rounded out the stage podium with Geraint Thomas in fourth place.
