The trails at Bike World News World HQ have finally dried out and I’ve been riding as much as I can. There have been a lot of cool items come through the door, so I wanted to drop some spot reviews to highlight some of them.

Filipo Zana of the Jayco-Alula team survived the break to win atop Val di Zoldo ahead of Thibaut Pinot in Stage 18 of the 2023 Giro d’Italia.

Davide Bais of the Eolo-Kometa saved it all for the last 300m to attack his break companions and take the win atop Gran Sasso d’Italia in Stage 7 of the 2023 Giro d’Italia. There was no change in the G.C.

2023 Giro d’Italia: Stage 6 Results

Stage 6 of the 2023 Giro d’Italia looked to come down to a two-man sprint between Simon Clarke and Alessandro De Marchi, who lead the race from early on, but a catch at 200m saw the race come down to a bunch sprint. Ultimately, it was a win for Mads Pedersen (TFS) in Napoli.

Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) has won Stage 1 of the 2023 Giro d’Italia, the 19.6km long Costa dei Trabocchi Tudor ITT from Fossacesia Marina to Ortona
